Derbyshire Peak District, Newstead Abbey, Rufford Park, Sherwood Pines, Clumber Park, White Post Farm & Wheelgate Adventure Park are just some of the nearby places to visit. The local countryside and forest around Blidworth offers opportunities for walking, cycling & horse riding. Blidworth is well endowed with pubs and takeaways, including the Black Bull Bar & Bistro awarded 'Best Restaurant in Nottinghamshire', serving gourmet food, pizzas & breakfasts. No need to take the car if you want a meal out and a drink! Plenty of golf courses locally, including Oakmere Park, 2 miles away in the next village.
