Peacefully set on the banks of the River Lark this detached Scandinavian style lodge lies in a quiet marina teaming with fish & natural wildlife The perfect location for a family holiday, river fishing, bird watching, watersports, walking, and activity holidays. The self-catering lodge occupies a lakeside plot in the marina benefiting from the lake as well as access to the the River Lark opposite. Fishing from the garden it offers the ideal waterside location with free use of canoes & bikes.

We have been running holiday lets for the last 6 years. We have a young family and enjoy cycling and trips out with the family.

The Riverside Island marina complex is set in woodlands, with a one mile circular walk around the island, wandering through shaded tree-lined paths. On the outskirts of a quiet village, with three pubs all within a mile and a half, with food of different budgets. There is also have Co-Op and Chinese takeaway in the village. Good area for fishing, kayaking, walking, cycling, or just escaping the busyness of life! You would need to either drive or get a taxi into the marina as there is no public transport.
