Rowanlea Lodge, where families and friends can slow down, reconnect, and enjoy time together. Beautifully handcrafted Scottish Douglas Fir logs and the gentle crackle of the Morso stove create a welcoming space the moment you walk through the door. The kitchen has everything you need to cook favourite meals, and the dining table becomes the hub of the evening—playing Monopoly and planning your next day’s adventure. Sleeping arrangements are relaxed and easy. The ground‑floor double bedroom is perfect for those who prefer to be close to the living space, while the entire first floor opens into a spacious double bedroom with its own seating area and smart TV. The additional sofa bed makes it ideal for siblings who want their own space or friends sharing the adventure. Step out from the living room and you’ll find whisky‑barrel chairs and a fire pit waiting on the patio. It’s the perfect spot for toasting marshmallows as the sky turns golden and wrapping up with the kids for a hot chocolate beneath the stars. The garden offers several peaceful seating areas where you can follow the sun throughout the day and watch it set over the hills. The Chesney Heat & Grill adds a fun twist to family meals—steaks sizzling, sausages cooking, everyone gathered around the warmth. After days spent exploring castles, coastal villages, and sandy beaches, your private hot tub becomes the perfect family wind‑down. Sink into the warm bubbles, listen to birdsong, and watch the hills fade into evening. It’s a moment of calm that everyone can enjoy. The fully secure garden means children and dogs can explore safely while you relax. And when you fancy a stroll, the village’s pet‑friendly pub is just a 10‑minute walk away, offering a warm welcome and delicious food. Rowanlea Lodge is a place where families can truly switch off, enjoy each other’s company, and make memories that last forever.
I thoroughly enjoy welcoming guests to Rowanlea Lodge. There’s something special about helping people relax, switch off, and make memories—whether it’s a cosy night by the fire, a dip in the hot tub, or exploring the beautiful countryside nearby. I take pride in creating a space that feels warm, comfortable, and cared for, and I love hearing that guests feel at home the moment they arrive. Every stay is a chance to share this little corner of Scotland with someone new, and that’s what makes hosting so rewarding.
