Silvermead is a renovated family home in the pretty village of Eggbuckland. We are located in a quiet area of Plymouth with good links to Dartmoor, Derriford hospital, Life Centre, the City and other attractions. We have 3 recently converted stable cottages which all have their OWN ENTRANCE and are thoughtfully designed to give you a comfortable stay. The Coach House is our largest apartment, we call this the Superior One bed with lounge and sofa area plus private garden seating. The Stable is a one bed apartment with a courtyard view; no sofa but a dining area. The Garden Cottage is our smallest studio called 'one bed with garden'; with good sized double bedroom, dining table and chairs in the bedroom area by the patio doors overlooking a private garden. All rooms have a kettle and tea and coffee provided. Co-op is just across the road and chip shop and local pub a short walk. We provide free on-site parking and wifi. For your convenience we offer an optional breakfast hamper delivered to your room at a time of your choosing, this includes; hot toast, croissant, scrambled egg, yoghurt, cheese, fruit salad, cereal, milk, orange juice, tea or coffee. Breakfast payments to be made in cash at the property at time of ordering please.

We owned a bed and breakfast for 10 years in Shropshire before moving to Devon. I enjoy hosting guests and helping out when needed whilst giving privacy and a relaxed feeling.

Eggbuckland is a lovely village; with excellent links to Derriford hospital, Dartmoor, Expressway for Cornwall, Plymouth centre, Plymouth Life Centre and more. It's quieter and easier to park than the town centre and has a very safe and comfortable feel.
