Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space in the Hamlet of Heughhead In the Cairngorm National Park. Finished and furnished to a high standard and with oil fired central heating, you will be comfortable, warm and cosy in Smithy Cottage. Look out on to the ladder hills and an abundance of birds and wildlife. Mountain Biking, cycling and forest trails are all accessible straight from the door while distilleries and castle trails are a scenic drive away.

I live in the highlands of Scotland in the Cairngorms National Park where we can get the 4 seasons in one day. Its always beautiful though and I enjoy spending time each morning walking and taking in the views with my trusty Labrador. I"m a textile artist and my surroundings offer constant inspiration.

The cottage is situated in the peaceful rural hamlet of Heughhead with views to the Ladder Hills. A car is essential for getting around as there is no public transport. Bicycles are also great for exploring the rural roads and tracks.
