Springdale is a beautiful self contained two bedroom, first floor annex with its own private entrance. There is a dedicated parking space available on our private and secluded driveway for one car. It is only 10-15 minutes drive from Dover ferry port and cruise terminal and 15-20 minutes from the Eurotunnel terminal. The main bedroom has a Superking size bed and the second bedroom one single bed and a set of single bunk beds. Each bedroom has a wardrobe, drawers, bedside drawers and mirror. The kitchenette is well equipped with a combination microwave oven, dishwasher, fridge (with small freezer space) kettle and toaster. Tea, coffee and sugar are provided. Please note there is no Oven or Hob. Within the main living area there are two comfy sofas and large HD TV with 145 Freeview channels, DVD player with a selection of films, family board games and a dining table and chairs. Free WiFi is also available. The bathroom has a large walk in electric power shower, wash basin, WC and heated towel rail. There is a also a shaving point by the mirror. Towels are provided for each guest.

As a family with children, we have created Springdale based on exactly what we look for when staying somewhere - clean, quiet, comfortable, well equipped, completely self contained so we can come and go as we please and most of all, a proper bed for everyone! Whether you’re visiting Dover for work or pleasure, Springdale is perfect for an overnight stop, weekend getaway or short break on the Kent coast.

Springdale is located in River, a lovely village just outside of the main town of Dover. It is only 10 minutes drive to the Ferry and Cruise Terminal and 15 minutes from the Eurotunnel Terminal in Folkestone. The flat set in a quiet residential home with private driveway that is set back from the main road and surrounded by trees. There are two local shops within a 2 minute walk that stock everything you might need. There is a large Tesco Extra, Lidl supermarket and two petrol stations all within a 5 minute drive. Our new leisure centre has excellent swimming and gym facilities, and has a brilliant clip and climb centre for adults and children over 4yrs old. There are two lovely village pubs serving food within a 15 minute walk or 5 minute drive. Both welcome children and have children’s menus. Within Dover town centre (15 minutes drive) there is a wide variety of good independent restaurants and cafes as wells as the usual chains like Costa Coffee, Weatherspoons and Nando’s. There are two cinemas, a museum and a sea sports centre. There are many established local cycling and walking routes nearby too.
