This accommodation is very nice, the owners show a great deal of care and thought for guests. The location is very useful for accessing the coast and only 3.5 miles from Saltburn

Everything was clean, and it was well stocked with non-essentials like tea, coffee and snacks. The house was warm, and provided apparently very good access to some of the touristic spots in the area (unfortunately there was no time for exploring)....

A quirky, old miners cottage set in the heart of the village! With the Cleveland Way just a stones throw away Storm Cottage is perfect for walkers, explorers and those wanting to enjoy the beautiful, rugged north-east coast. Cattersty Sands, Skinningrove, Saltburn, Staithes, Runswick Bay and Whitby are all only a short distance away, as are the stunning North York moors! Storm Cottage is dog friendly and child friendly, making it a perfect hideaway to make those everlasting family memories.
Hi, i'm Clare! I have lived locally all my life and my family have lived and farmed in the area for over 300 years! I have a ten year old son, and two dogs who all enjoy staying in holiday lets around the country. I run my own care business and always try and go that extra mile for everyone.
Storm Cottage lies on the edge of the village of Carlin How, just a minutes walk from the local Fish & Chip shop! For those wanting to leave the car at home, the Middlesbrough - Whitby bus route stops at the end of the road making us ideal to explore far and wide! The beautiful beach of Cattersty Sands at Skinningrove is just a short walk down the cliff and is a year round dog friendly beach. The Victorian spa town of Saltburn is 10 minutes away in the car, as is the quaint little fishing village of Staithes. Whitby is half an hour away and a beautiful drive there and back. The spectacular North York Moors are only 10 minutes away with lots to see, do and explore.
