A note from Tihana, Bloqq's COO and co-founder: What started as hosting guests in my own home grew into a lifelong passion for creating welcoming and functional spaces. That experience led me into property management, where I learned how to make travel and living not only comfortable, but also safe, affordable, and convenient for everyone. Today I run Bloqq - my own company with a team that shares the same mindset - practical, caring, and dedicated to giving students and travellers peace of mind while away from home.

Affordable, well-located, and easy - this property is set within a student accommodation building, just a short walk from Coventry city centre and with easy access to local universities, public transport, shops, and cafes. All guests 18+ are welcome to book, regardless of student status! It’s a no-frills, practical space that includes a fully equipped private kitchen, private bathroom, fast Wi‑Fi, and a comfortable bed. The studio is professionally cleaned before each guest, with fresh hotel-quality linen, towels, and an initial supply of toiletries provided. After booking, you’ll receive a GDPR-compliant check-in form. This must be completed to receive access instructions. ID verification is required on arrival, and our on-site host will provide room access with a pre-arranged check-in time. Late check-ins have a surcharge; please see Fine Print. Guests are not permitted to receive mail, parcels, or package deliveries at Reception. Any letters or packages addressed to guests will not be accepted or stored by the property. *Imagery is for illustrative purposes only. The neighborhood: A few minutes' walk takes you to Coventry University, the iconic Cathedral, and Herbert Art Gallery & Museum. For shopping, dining and entertainment, West Orchards Shopping Centre, Fargo Village, and a range of cafes, bars and restaurants are right on your doorstep. Transport is easy too - Coventry Train Station is nearby, with quick links to Birmingham and London. Despite being central, the area has a relaxed atmosphere, with green spaces like Greyfriars Green offering a peaceful break from city life. It’s a lively, well-connected neighbourhood with all essentials within walking distance, perfect for exploring Coventry's history, culture and modern charm. How to Get Around: Located on Friars’ Road in Coventry, the property offers excellent access to key areas of the city. Coventry Railway Station is around a 10–15 minute walk away, with direct trains to cities such as London and Birmingham. Several bus routes also serve the area, providing convenient connections across the city. The city centre, along with shops, restaurants, and attractions like Coventry Cathedral, can all be reached on foot, making it easy to get around without needing a car. Other things to note: Please note that this is a student accommodation building, and unfortunately, we’re unable to host guests under the age of 18.
