No smoking.. These two single storey, semi-detached cottages have been converted in 2018 from outbuildings which were once a hen house, on the owner’s stud farm. The properties overlook woodland at the back, and there is a small sitting-out area for each property. There is superb walking straight from the door, onto a public footpath and fields which run alongside the owners’ farmhouse. There is a scenic ramble to a good pub in Tandridge through the fields and woodland, which takes about half an hour. Next door to the bungalows, is a garden centre with a walled garden restaurant, which is open during the day and Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings. It also have a coffee shop and demonstrations/workshops at certain times of the year. The pretty village of Godstone is about a mile away with a range of traditional shops, pubs and eateries, and Caterham is also nearby. London is easily reached in about half an hour via the fast train from Oxted, 2 miles away.
