We are sure you will enjoy staying at Taigh Nandag in the beautiful village of Bhaltos, Isle of Lewis. The house is close to the beach and enjoys sea views from the living room, kitchen and garden. One pet dog is welcome and there is ample opportunity to enjoy the outdoors form this cosy cottage. There are many beaches nearby and wildlife abounds. The kitchen is well equipped for your own cooking and Wifi is included. The three comfortable bedrooms comprise of one double bedroom, a second double bedroom and bunk bed room. Please note that bookings are from SAT to SAT only and you will need to bring your own duvet covers, sheets and towels for your stay.

There is something for everyone here in Bhaltos, where the sea meets the land with dramatic cliffs and beautiful beaches. Lewis is steeped in ancient and modern history so a visit to Callanish Standing stones are a must as well as to the excellent local museum. The sheltered bay of Bhaltos on Loch Roag is excellent for paddle boarding and other watersports and the local hills offer wild exploring. Look out for the sea eagles, seals and seashells and maybe even an otter if you are lucky. Sometimes you may hear the elusive corncrake too. Fishing, wild swimming, kayaking, sailing, hiking, photography and bird watching are ideal activities in this beautiful area. There is a shop nearby at Timsgarry and a fantastic restaurant at Uig Sands too.
