The Barn at Pink Cottage offers a unique and idyllic opportunity to experience total relaxation in a wonderful woodland setting. It exudes a certain charm, warmth and character. The open plan living area with galley kitchen is complemented with a lovely big wood burning stove, exposed stone walls and feature stained glass windows. All of which is overlooked by a romantic loft bedroom nestled under the eaves (Please note that standing space is limited in the loft bedroom and ducking is required - this "just adds to the charm" of the Barn according to our guests. The Barn sits in an enclosed garden with ample private parking. It is only a couple of minutes from the small town of Crossgar offering several lovely cafes and bars. It’s also the perfect location from where to explore the breathtaking views County Down has to offer and is right at the centre of Game of Thrones filming locations in County Down. The Barn is good for couples, solo adventurers, honeymooners, walkers and anyone wishing to just get away from it all and kick back in a beautiful tranquil setting.

The Barn is located in a quiet, secluded area full of wild life. The nearest shop is in Crossgar, less than 3 miles away. The towns of Downpatrick, Saintfield and Ballynahinch are all only 5 miles away. Crossgar has several lovely coffee shops and cafes. There are also local Chinese, Asian and Italian takeaways (all deliver to the Barn). There are many beautiful areas nearby to visit such as Inch Abbey, Newcastle and Strangford Lough. We have plenty of information about the area available at the Barn. For gin or whiskey lovers, we are right next to the Short Cross distillery. Tours are available, you can book online.
