Hi we are very please to welcome guests to our farm suite. We only let the one area of the farm so you have an exclusive use of a very historic part of our beautiful house, rest assured for your comfort and privacy. For some years we have been welcoming guests to our holiday cottages and cabin that are not far from the farm, but in 2021 we took on the huge project of a neglected farmhouse which is Waddock Farm and its land. With the vision of restoring a very downtrodden but stunning building we set to work clearing and renovating. We opened The Dairyman Suite in June 2022. We continue to renovate the farm over the coming years, making it our forever home. The natural peaceful landscape, extensive gardens and wonderful views are why we totally fell for the place. My wife , who is an author with an interest in interior designer relishes in the task, whilst I happily do the renovations and manage our holiday lets . We have two dogs, Nellie and Delilah. Rest assured they are not in touch with guests unless guests request a cuddle. Free range chickens and wonderful sunsets are part of the stay experience that is unique and makes Waddock Farm a luxurious quirky stay.

Set in 4 acres of fields and woodland, surrounded by countryside, Waddock Farm is an historic thatched building of interest. A painting of the house hangs in the Victoria and Albert Museum. The original house was built in the 17th Century and added onto over the following century 100. The final building finished in 1797. The Dairyman Suite is in the oldest part of the building and has undergone extensive sympathetic renovation within the last few years. This is the only part of the house that is let to guests. Guests have a private entrance from a key safe. The suite is stunning and unique with many luxurious touches. A real unique experience.The large gardens are laid to lawn with extensive views over ancient woodland and open fields. Guests have access to the garden, picnic area, and loungers. Guests are also welcome to feed the free range chickens, and even take home fresh eggs. A delicious hamper with fresh pastries, fruit, coffee and more is left outside your door every morning. The suite has a large room with king size bed and Hypnos mattress, There is a dining area, smart TV, large comfy sofa, tea, coffee and a small fridge. The bathroom has a huge double rain shower with different jets for you to set to your liking.. The suite is up stairs therefore unsuitable for disabled access . Adults only. No pets allowed. If you are looking for a bit of luxury in a place quite like no other, you have found it.

Waddock is a small hamlet set between the villages of Affpuddle and Moreton. 8 miles from the main market town of historic Dorchester and 10 mile from the bustling seaside of Weymouth with extensive sandy beaches. Moreton is home to the grave of Lawrence of Arabia and many beautiful woodlands and walks. The village itself is a tumble of thatched cottages with a large shallow ford across the river, perfect for long walks or waterside picnics. Close by is Monkey World, The Tank Museum, National Trust delights, The Thomas Hardy trail. and a host of other attractions. Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door are a 20 minute drive. The local tearoom offers good food, meals and cream teas. There are a host of beautiful walks with stunning views. Ideal as a base for visiting Dorset villages, local attractions or as a stop over on your travels. The local pub is the Frampton Arms and offers delicious well priced meals, booking is not essential but advised in busy periods.
