The Dukes, formally The Dukes Head, is an 18th century, grade II listed, thatched roofed village pub. It has been recently refurbished and transformed into a gastro pub with an A La Carte restaurant, traditional bar menu, real ales, open fire and 6 en-suite bedrooms.

The project has been a labour of love for sisters Sarah Smith and Jo Carter who would love to welcome you into their abode. The pub’s recent restoration facelift has included restoring the open fire, re-equipping the bar and restaurant areas, and refurbishing the six bed and breakfast rooms. Owner and Landlady Sarah Smith has 14 years’ experience in the hospitality trade including a spell as restaurant manager at the Michelin-starred restaurant in Oxfordshire.

We are located in heart of Heath & Reach village opposite the village green and the glorious clock tower. We just 1.5 miles from Leighton Buzzard town centre towards the A5, 15 minutes drive from Milton Keynes and less than 10 minutes drive from Woburn. We're just 15 minutes drive away from the M1 at Junction 13. There is a bus stop right outside of our front door on the main road and the busses will take you to Milton Keynes City Centre or to Leighton Buzzard or surrounding areas. We're 10 minutes from Woburn Safari Park and 15 minutes from Xscape Milton Keynes or Milton Keynes Bowl.
