The Green Holiday Cottages opened the first of the 6 properties in December 2017. Since then Mark has renovated all the mill buildings to to holiday accommodation. A beautiful exclusive 6 property site with room to explore and relax along the river and in the woodland surrounding the property. THe Green Holiday Cottages have been awarded a 4 star rating by NITB.

Property info

A restored 18th Century corn and flax mill situated along the Kilkeel River 3 miles from the foot of The Mourne Mountains. With the sound of the river, the native woodland and the garden this space allows you to relax and unwind in your own exlusive retreat. On site guests have access to 1km of woodland and riverwalks. There is a meadow and play area for children both in the main garden and across the river. We have an onsite woodland spa with hot tub, plunge pool and sauna which can be booked as an extra for our guests. Wee Home has its own woodfired hot tub.

1 mile from the busy fishing village of Kilkeel and 3 miles from the Mourne Mountains along the Mourne Coastal route The Green Holiday Cottages are a prime location for exploring the east coast of County Down. With both airports Dublin and Belfast 1hour and 30 mins from them it is an easy drive to experience all that this wonderful coastal destination has to offer.
