Just 30 miles south of Belfast and 90 miles north of Dublin, Grey Heron Townhouse is the perfect choice for touring and sightseeing. There is a range of must-visit local attractions all within close proximity to the house. The Mountains of Mourne are on our doorstep and offer fantastic walking and climbing experience. Tollymore forest Park is a few minutes’ drive, Silent Valley, Castlewellan County Park, Murlough Bay Nature Reserve are all nearby. Two golf courses ; The Legendary Royal County Down and the Mourne Golf Club are also within walking distance. Downpatrick, a stone's throw away, home to St.Patrick's Visitor Centre and Grave, (A world Christian Heritage Site).
