The Loft is a beautiful modern apartment in a stunning rural setting. We have views of the Mountains of Mourne and are only 5 minutes by car from the Irish Sea and on the other side of the Peninsula is the amazing Strangford Lough. Onsite we have free wifi and the apartment is fully equipped with everything required for a comfortable stay.

Thank you for taking time to look at The Loft at Ard Gleann, my name is Jacky and I will be very happy to welcome you to the beautiful Ards Peninsula. While you are staying I will be more than happy to offer advice on the local area and attractions having worked in the local Tourist Information Centres in recent times. I am an Accredited Professional Coach with the British Horse Society and can offer excellent equestrian facilities if you wish to bring your horse on holiday with you. We have great hacking and are only 20 minutes from the beach.

This is a quiet countryside neighbourhood, suitable for walking or cycling but you will need a car to get about any great distance. The closest bus route would be in Kircubbin about 4 miles away. We are only 20 minutes from Newtownards or Bangor if you like to go shopping. We are a 5 minute drive from Kirkistown race track and 15 minutes from the exclusive wedding venue Orange Tree House, for guests attending functions at Orange Tree, subject to availability we may be able to arrange a drop off and pick up service. Exploris Aquarium and the Strangford Lough ferry service are a 10 minute drive away.
