The Loft @ Shemara is located in the heart of the Mournes in Greencastle, Co Down, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This is a wonderful base for exploring the many great locations within Co Down. This well appointed apartment, with panoramic views of the Mourne Mountains and Greencastle Castle, is only 5 mins walk to the beach and within easy driving distance of all the Mournes has to offer. Only opened in August 2022. The Loft @ Shemara consists of a downstairs kitchen, fully equipped with a fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, two ring induction hob and all cutlery, dinnerware and cooking utensils. Upstairs is a large open plan, studio style living/dining/sleeping space. Please note the bathroom has its own separate entrance and consists of an electric shower, toilet and washhand basin. The property is across two floors and is therefore not suitable for wheelchair users or those with mobility issues. Stair gates can be provided if needed for young visitors. The location and acccomodation are ideal for families, hill walkers, individuals, couples, golfers, nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts.

5 minutes walk to Greencastle Beach, Greencastle Castle and Carlingford Lough Ferry. 1.5 miles to the award winning blue flag beach at Cranfield. 5 minute drive to the harbour town of Kilkeel and 15 minutes drive to the picturesque village of Rostrevor. Located at the foot of the Mourne Mountains and Carlingford Lough. We are in a rural area with no public transport. We have ample secure parking for cars and bicycles. The nearest shop is approx. 2.5 miles away. During the summer months there is a shop and cafe open Mon - Sat in Cranfield.
