Hi, I'm a retired engineer. I love walking in the local parks and forests enjoying the beautiful scenery and wildlife on offer.I love sports in general,Rugby,Badminton,but my passion is motor sports, Formula one, Motogp, etc.
Situated in the picturesque village of Rostrevor within 10 minutes walking to all local shops, bars and restaurants. It lies at the foot of Sl.Martin on the coast of Carlingford Lough. There are many outdoor activities if you wish to explore the local area and further afield.For the keen golfers The Nook is a 5 minute drive from Warrenpoint Golf Club,15 minutes from Kilkeel Golf Club and 30 minutes from the famous Royal County Down Golf Club in Newcastle.Greenore Golf Club is also close by,it's a 30 minute drive via Newry or the ferry from Greencastle Greenore runs on the hour daily.There are numerous biking trails, Evening kayaking on Carlingford Lough, Walk the magical Narnia Trail which brings life to The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S.Lewis, There's Cloughmor Stone,Kilbroney Park and of course the Fairy Glen. Carlingford Ferry from Greencastle to Greenore which provides spectacular views of The Mournes and Cooley mountains.
