Please note: 1) There is a house cat. She is not allowed in the guest bedrooms, but will wander freely in the common areas. She is shy and will not approach guests. 2) All bedrooms have a standard double bed (4' 6") and are on the first floor accessed only via a staircase. We will be delighted to welcome you to the Old Vicarage, where we hope you will have the most pleasant stay. Guests may use the gardens and outside areas, such as the summer house in good weather. There are outside games such as croquet, badminton, boules that guests may setup if they wish.

The Old Vicarage in Little Ouse is in a quiet rural hamlet, two miles down White House Road. It is ideal for those looking for a peaceful get away visiting the local area and taking walks along the river. We are not in walking distance of any amenities. The closest public house which serves dinner is the Ship Inn, a fifty minute walk along the Little Ouse river or a ten minute drive. On the way you will pass the lowest Ordnance Survey trig point in England. Our neighbours who own Little Ouse Moorings, run afternoon tea excursions for groups on a converted barge. They have routes that stop at places such as Ely. Please see their website for availability and booking terms. We are in easy reach for the Mildenhall motoring events as well as Ely, Cambridge, Newmarket and Sandringham. Please consult your satnav before booking to ensure that we are in the travel area/time that you require.
