Welcome to the Round House - a lovely stone cottage built in 1855. We are located in the centre of Strangford, a beautiful fishing village in County Down. We are right on the square - directly beside all the main bars and restaurants including The Cuan, The Lobster Pot and the Artisan Cookhouse. A one minute walk from the house will take you to the ferry for Portaferry where you will find more bars, shops and award winning restaurants. The beautiful Kilclief beach is a 5 minute drive, with Newcastle only 30 minutes away. Lots of other great attractions are right on your doorstep with Exploris Aquarium and the alpaca farm only minutes away. Game of Thrones fans will love the amazing Castle Ward being right around the corner.
