We have converted our redundant stable building to, for want of a better term, a Bed & Breakfast Annexe. Bed & Breakfast or Holiday Cottage – You decide! Working with local craftsmen we have created a unique accommodation building. The stable is set apart from the main house and consists a spacious & airy living room with a mezzanine floor containing the bedroom area. The stable has its own fully equipped kitchen and wet-room shower/wc. The stable also has free broadband Wi-Fi. The Stables has a 4 star rating from Enjoy England.

Addy is a children's writer and Angus works locally. We enjoy welcoming visitors to the Historic Isle of Axholme - a lesser known area of North Lincolnshire. Angus is particularly interested in the local history of the area.

Crowle is situated just 3 miles North of junction 2 of the M180 in the historic Isle of Axholme, North Lincolnshire. Located between the historic cities of York & Lincoln makes it a convenient place from which to explore this interesting region of England. Closer to hand there are also many other interesting sights and activities including The Old Rectory at Epworth which was birthplace to John Wesley, founder of the Methodist Church and the Humberhead Peatlands National Nature reserve, which is the largest area of raised bog wilderness in lowland Britain. Blacktoft Sands, an RSPB nature reserve, is one of the largest tidal reedbeds in England. It is home to some 270 species of birds and is important for its breeding bearded tits, bitterns and marsh harriers. Crowle, itself, is a former market town which has many old and interesting buildings. There are a number of Pubs and Restaurants that serve evening meals. If you don’t want to go out there are Chinese, Indian, Pizza and Fish & Chips takeaways.
