The Stables at The Forge, Cronk Y Voddy, is a romantic, cosy, and yet spacious accommodation. It can also be the business persons home from home. It has Wifi and a desk space to enable working from home too. A newly converted pretty studio cottage surrounded by lovely gardens and views. Sleeps 2 adults. A travel cot or a fold-up bed can be arranged for younger children. Located on the A3, between Glen Helen and Kirk Michael: Approx. 6 Miles from Peel, 10 Miles from Douglas, and 8 miles from Ramsey. It has a fully equipped kitchen. So if you are there for 1 night or 1 month you will be able to cater for yourself. There is a washer/dryer in the cottage too. For your safety there is a newly installed aqua-mist fire system. There is lots of outside space, with BBQ, Firepit and garden furniture, ideal for those warmer evenings and a glass of your favourite tipple. The TV has Freeview and is a smart tv. Need some music, there is a JVC Bluetooth speaker too. Several of the power sockets have USB so you don't have to worry about forgetting the plug.
Holly and Nigel, truly feel blessed to live on this little island. We have tried to make The Stables a real home from home. So if you have been caught in the rain you can wash and dry your clothes. The comfort of heating when you need it and plenty hot water. If you need something that's not included let us know, if we don't have it we will happily source for you. Holly makes freshly baked bread and shortbread for every guest, and ensures there is milk and some fruit juice to get you started. Tea, coffee and sugar are in cottage too.
The Isle of Man is a hidden gem. With many different activities all year round. From Stargazing to Whale watching, not to mention the TT road racing and the Manx rallies. Cyclefest is a full on family event too. Check out Visit IoM so much going on. We are located on the Cronk Y Voddy straight, exciting to watch all motor sport right from the garden. Not your thing, you can go walking or beach-combing. Beaches are a few short miles away and so many, you can sit an watch the seals and dolphins from The Calf/ Sound, fabulous place to while a few hours. Many sea birds to watch here too.
