The place is so close to the city centre it makes so many things accessible easily. Our hosts were absolutely amazing and very hospitable and can’t fault their efforts. We’d love to stay again thank you for a lovely time.

We have 2 rooms available above our 203 year old pub in Coventry City Centre. Both rooms have double beds in, WiFi, plenty of plug sockets, towels and a settee, We share our large fully fitted kitchen with microwave, air fryer, washing machine, tumble dryer, tea and coffee making facilities etc. Shared bathroom shower with myself and my wife. Our pub has Sky TV and TNT Sports so regularly showing football matches each evening with music at weekends. All rooms have WiFi. Right in the heart of the Centre but close enough to the ring road to be able to get out and about in the mornings and across the city in minutes. Ideally suited to working contractors who may be in town for a few days or weeks on a project or visitors to the HMV Empire for Music or The Tin Arts Music Centre in Coventry Canal Basin. We are 7 minutes walk from HMV Empire and 5 minutes walk from The Tin. The pub is open each day from 10am to 11pm apart from Sundays when we open at midday. Guest have separate access to the rooms and can come and go as they please. We do serve breakfasts in the pub each day but that is not included in the room rental price. Our pub has lots of Coventry history and character
Paul is a born and bred Coventrian. Loves his music, Coventry City Football Club and local history. Along with his wife Ellie they run The Stag and Hen. You will receive a warm welcome from them both and if you stay for a night or a few days you will be made to feel at home. Paul played a role in the City of Culture and as a result knows all the best places to eat, visit for a memorable trip to the local tourist attractions.
We are in the City Centre North just 5 minutes walk from the Coventry Transport Museum, there are plenty of pubs within a 5-10 minute walk including a speciality real ale bar. There is a Tesco Express directly opposite open till 11pm each night and fast food options. Car parking options. There is a 2 hour parking bay on bishop st and lamb st with a 24 hours just 300 meters away. There is a council car parking bay diagonally opposite Walking into the city centre is just 5 minutes to be in Broadgate right in the heart of the city centre and all the shops
