The Tower is a fabulously presented property that has four floors and is situated close to all the local amenities. The property faces east so it looks out over the sea and is approximately 100 yards from the beach. The Tower has five bedrooms in total, three double bedrooms, one twin bedroom and lastly two single beds on the very top floor, which boasts spectacular views in every direction. Thorpeness is a village located just one mile north of Aldeburgh on the stunning Suffolk Heritage Coast. Developed as a private fantasy holiday village, Glen Ogilvie built the Country Club, golf course, tennis courts and an artificial lake called the ‘Meare’. The Meare has inspirations from J. M. Barrie’s work of Peter Pan and holds the annual Thorpeness Regatta where boat races are held during the day and a fantastic fireworks display can be enjoyed during the evening. Thorpeness is also home to the House in the Clouds. An old water tower that was considered an eye-sore has been developed into a fantastic 5-storey holiday home. You won’t miss it whilst you are visiting the village.
