This property was once owned and occupied by a family by the name of Moneypenney back in 1911 (according to the 1911 Ireland Census). The father/husband was a Boilermaker in the local shipyard where the Titanic was built. His 2 sons were also apprentices in the same shipyard. Time could not stand still, and I have modernised the property recently, with a new heating system, new carpets, new beds and a remodelled shower room/WC. The property is located in a quiet residential street in East Belfast. The only way to get to the house is via Templemore Avenue. There is a small peace wall dividing the street which is not marked on GPS maps. During the Summer months there will be flags, bunting and parades in the general area. This is part of Belfast culture which culminates in a large annual parade on the 12th July and nothing I have control over! Belfast has evolved greatly since our dark days of the troubles, and I hope you can come to our lovely vibrant city to enjoy the great food, drink and culture. This is the perfect base to vist The Waterfront Hall, SSE Arena, Titanic Visitors Centre, St Georges Market, the City Centre and beyond. The location is very close to motorway links to the Giants Causeway, Game of Thrones filming sites and George Best City airport.
