Large two bedroom modern Shepherd's Hut with panoramic views of the Mourne Mountains in Newcastle Co Down. The outside seating area looks over the Burren River and there is also a garden area for guests to enjoy. We are a 15min walk into the town centre and Royal County Down Golf Course. Large supermarket 5min walk, bar and restaurant across the road. There is a private wood fired hot tub at the property and included with the stay. It is essential that guests can manage a fire as this is required to heat the water. We are happy to help however we are not available to light the fire each time the hot tub is to be used. We provide enough wood to heat the tub to 42oc - and will light it for arrival if requested. Any wood after this can be purchased for a small fee. Alternatively Guests are welcome to bring their own logs to use. The hot tub is insulated and holds the heat well - so only a case of topping fire up at next use.
We will be available during your stay to help you with any enquiries and to provide information on the local area and things to do.
The location is quiet and semi rural, with beautiful scenery
