Update for Linen House bookings: Damage deposit/card details. £1,000 deposit waiver. By completing a booking, the guest agrees to the following damage policy:

A valid credit or debit card must be provided for all current and future bookings as security against damage to the property.

The property may pre-authorize or charge a damage deposit before arrival or at check-in, up to the amount stated in the booking, to cover any damage, breakages, missing items, excessive cleaning, or breach of house rules during the stay.

If no damage or extra costs are identified after check-out, any damage deposit or pre-authorization will be released or refunded, subject to the guest’s card provider processing times.

If damage or extra costs are identified, the property is entitled to retain all or part of the deposit and/or charge the card provided for the reasonable cost of repair, replacement, or extra services.

Failure to provide valid card details or authorization for the damage deposit within the requested time may result in cancellation of the booking in line with the property’s cancellation policy.

Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.

A damage deposit of £500 is required. The property charges this days before arrival. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed within 7 days of check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full by credit card, subject to an inspection of the property.
