Weaver's Cottage is located in the peaceful garden setting of Cloth Hall, a wonderful 15th Century yeoman’s timber hall house. Smarden was once renowned as a weaving community in medieval times. The cottage has been successfully converted into a stunning retreat for two and has been styled with every attention to detail, offering a super king-size bed, a luxury spa bathroom and a large comfy sofa right in front of a wood burning stove. A gorgeous getaway....

The chocolate box village of Smarden is a stone’s throw away and has been called the most beautiful village in Kent. It is certainly a lovely village, blessed with a number of attractive historic cottages, a medieval church, and three pubs. There are plenty of walking routes directly from the Barn that will see you exploring the Garden Of England at its finest. Shop: 3.4 miles Pub: 0.2 miles Coast: 22 miles.
