Recently refurbished 19th century cottage set in open countryside 2 miles from Junction 18 of the M4 motorway (Bath/ Stroud). A double room and twin room are available both with ensuite shower rooms. There is an elegant dining room where guests will enjoy their breakfast. In addition, there is onsite parking, and a large garden with children's play equipment. We can accommodate children and provide highchair and cot if required.
This bed and breakfast has been running since 1987, when it started to provide hospitality to a selection of visitors to the Badminton Horse Trials. The house is very tranquil and provides such a peaceful and relaxing end to a busy day. On arrival to this delightful house, a warm and friendly family welcome you and will help you to feel right at home, whether you are just staying for one night or enjoying a more lengthy time with us. Free WIFI is available and Visa and Mastercard is accepted. If you have any special requests or questions about your day, please do feel free to contact us and we will do our best to accommodate.
Windylands is set in open countryside 2 miles from junct 18 M4 with Badminton, Castle Combe, Westonbirt Arboretum and Dyrham Park close by. We are 15 minutes drive from the Georgian city of Bath renowned for its Roman Baths, shopping, restaurants and Bath Rugby Club. Bristol is also only 25 minutes down the motorway which has a wealth of history of its own from liquor smuggling to exhibits of engineering feats by Isambard Kingdom Brunel . It also boasts 2 universities and a vibrant waterfront along with shopping malls and restaurants to suit all tastes. Windylands is a mile from the Cotswold Way which attracts walkers throughout the year. For golfers there are several courses within a few miles, notably The Players course which holds championship tournaments during the summer.
