A self-contained one-bedroomed holiday let which forms part of a large barn conversion located within 10 acres of garden and pastureland. The open plan lounge, dining area, fully equipped kitchenette and separate double bedroom boasts high vaulted beautifully beamed ceilings and under-floor heating throughout. The lounge and dining area comprises comfortable seating, with a dining table and chairs, a flat screen television with terrestrial channels, Wi-Fi, and a wood burning stove. Off the open-plan area there is a separate double bedroom and an en-suite bathroom with shower. There is a fully fenced garden comprising a lawn and patio with chairs and table right outside the door for al fresco dining in the afternoon and evening sun. Pets are welcome and the garden is dog proof – but please be aware that we also have dogs, but they will be unable to access your private area. There is off-road parking for two cars with access to external power points which may be used for vehicle charging overnight (not fast charge). There is also an undercover facility for the storage for bikes.

Wood Farm Barn is a family home meaning there is normally someone available if guests have any additional needs.

The local village pubs and shop are located 1.2 miles away and as the accommodation is located on a quiet lane, with access to footpaths, guests can enjoy walking, cycling, or driving around the local and wider area with ease. The nearest airport is Norwich International Airport which is 31.7 miles from the accommodation. Laxfield is a beautiful village with an open all hours, well equipped shop and two friendly pubs serving great food. A take-away service is available from The Royal Oak. The medieval guildhall includes a museum. The coast, with Southwold, Walberswick, Dunwich and Aldebugh, is about 25 minutes’ drive away. The market town of Framlingham is 15 minutes’ drive.
