This pretty stone Cottage was once the home of Dewi Emrys the famous bard which has been lovingly renovated to a high standard (Google street View is an old picture ) with all traditional features and modern comforts making it a perfect escape for a couple or small family in a small quiet rural village location Full modern comforts available at the cottage together with a log burner. There is also a travel cot , bed guard and high chair ,together with stair gates fitted on both end of the stairs . The Main Bedroom has a King Size bed (5FT) together with en-suite , and the twin room has 2 Single Beds 1 =2ft6ins x 6ft3in for a child only 1= Standard Single All basic requirements are supplied i.e. Tea Coffee, Sugar, Kitchen roll, Toilet paper and Milk , and home delivery from major supermarkets are available . It is only approx 6 miles from the beautiful Coast of Ceredigion ,and the lovely sandy beaches of Tresaith, Mwnt,Penbryn and not forgetting Llangrannog ,or the famous Dolphin Spotting Trips from New Quay ,or just relax in the lovely garden where there is a pergola and Sun Chairs drinking your morning coffee and watching the Red Kites, or with a Prosecco in the evening watching the sun going down .I am sure there is plenty to keep everyone entertained but if it is more of a relaxing break there are lovely country walks around the Talgarreg area or Visit the Llanerchaeron NT. There will be a welcome hamper supplied and also the fire will be lit for your arrival during the Spring , Autumn, and winter months . We will accommodate weekend / mid week or weekly bookings . 2 small / Med size dogs only will be accepted free of charge. No other pets . There is always a Warm Welsh Welcome at Y Bwthyn .

The cottage is situated in the quiet village of Talgarreg, The Ceredigion Coast is only approx 6 miles from the property with the seaside towns of Aberaeron ,New Quay ,Llangrannog , Tresaith . Penbryn, and Poppit sands within 20 mins drive The Ceredigion Coastal Path and the NT LLanerchaeron with the Aeron Valley Cycle or the Brechfa Forest trail all within 20 minutes drive The university towns of Aberystwyth and Lampeter and also the famous castle of Cardigan which has recently been restored to its former glory .The famous Cardigan Bay Dolphin trips are within 6 miles with daily trips out to the bay to spot the dolphins .Crabbing at Aberaeron Harbour and finish off the day with Fish and Chips on the Harbour wall and a Honey Ice Cream or a cocktail at one of the many public houses at Aberaeron . The village pub is only 12 steps across the road where there is always a welcome for tourist and also dog friendly . Meals are available on Friday and Saturday ( Booking Advisable ). There are also a few lovely well recommended restaurants in the locality i.e Aberaeron and New quay and a few village pubs in the area which is well worth a visit .
