Golf, swimming, and horse riding, are all available locally. Both the North & South Devon coasts are only about an hours drive. The area has some beautiful villages and hamlets, selling locally quality produce, and exceptional places to eat. Dartmoor is a scenic area for walking, we are able to provide information on numerous walks, according to distance and ability. There is 500 acres of moorland within a ten minute walk of the house, which has some amazing history, and the largest stone circle on Dartmoor.We can also put you in touch with a local fishing tutor, who is able to guide you through various types of fishing albeit, in local reservoir, lake river or sea.
