Escape to our secluded and rustic Mongolian Yurt, a cosy retreat set in the heart of Devon’s stunning nature. Sleep under the skylight with views of the stars, unwind on the Thai kapok mattress, or enjoy the firepit with free logs and BBQ. Ideally located between between Exmoor, Dartmoor and the North Devon Coast, this is the perfect location for walking, cycling, surfing and exploring. Inside the yurt you’ll find a comfortable double futon sofa bed with bedside tables (plus an extra mattress available for a child over 5), bed linen and extra blankets (including one weighted), a skylight for stargazing, WiFi, electric charging hub with USB ports, a kettle for coffee and tea, board games, books, and electric radiators. There’s also a Thai kapok mattress for lounging, 2 chairs and a small table. Outside, enjoy the decking, hammock, outdoor seating, BBQ and firepit (with free logs provided). Guests have access to an external toilet with hand wash basin, private off-road parking, and the option of a continental breakfast (on request and on arrival). Please note: the yurt does not have shower facilities. Guests will need to make alternative arrangements.

Nestled between Exmoor and Dartmoor National Parks (both about an hour away), the yurt is perfectly placed for exploring the best of Devon. The spectacular North Devon Coast, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty just 19 miles away, offers wild cliffs, sandy beaches, coves, dunes and waterfalls. Highlights include surfing, coastal walks, and cycling /walking on the famous Tarka Trail—the UK’s longest traffic-free cycling/walking route. Nearby, Burrington village has a community shop, while Chulmleigh (5 minutes by car) offers pubs, a deli, a small supermarket and a golf course. Within 10 minutes you’ll also find a farm shop, a bistro, country pubs serving excellent local food, and a SPA with a swimming pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi.
