Welcome to Biodiversity House Tebulo, which is located in Pshav-Khevsureti National Park in village Khone (20km from Shatili), north-eastern Georgia (Country in south Caucasus). Your satisfaction and safety is our priority! Responsibility is our main value! So we are happy to meet you :) The aim of this house is to serve as the accommodation/guesthouse from June to October for eco-tourist, naturalists, scientist, students, families with children and visitors who are interested in to get to know local mystic nature, biodiversity and cultural heritage. Our additional services also include: planning and organizing local/interregional tours, guiding through the hiking trails and car (4X4) transfers. * We CAN ONLY guarantee the above mentioned services after in-advance agreement/contact to us. Establishing „Biodiversity House Tebulo“ (google it for more info) was an idea of my father Shamil Shetekauri, who was a Georgian botanist, mountain guide, co-author of the book (Caucasus flora field guide) and university professor at Tbilisi State University. After his death (In 2018), we, his sons (Gaga and Tolkha) continued the idea and managed to build a house to host nature lovers, our national park visitors and eco-tourists.
The surrounding area is very diverse with its endemic flora and fauna. Activities like birdwatching, observations’ on animals, plants and glaciers around the mountain Tebulo (4493 m.a.s.l) can be done in the vicinity. Expect to see a lot of pristine/wild nature, picturesque landscapes and flowery meadows.
