I am one of the Salia Brothers, who initiated the first tourist activities in and around Mole National Park and Larabanga. I am deeply connected to my birthplace and more than happy when people are interested in discovering this beautiful place in Mother Africa. Our aim is the cultural protection and revival of the native and ancient society of Larabanga and northern Ghana. To ensure the ongoing development of Larabanga and the surrounding areas my brother and I founded Bambeny Community School together with an orphanage.

Savannah Lodge is a center for immersive nature retreats, in very close proximity to the famous Mole National Park. We offer housing options for single visitors, couples and families. The guest houses are easily reachable via a paved road and are all located on a enclosed and secure property. There are transport services to and from Mole National Park, Tamale, Damongo, Kumasi and even Accra available. Just reach out and enquire about our offers and the according prices. If you have special requests regarding transportation we will try to arrange it as well. We offer an authentic stay in traditional northern ghanian huts or for more comfort in air conditioned rooms in our main building. The huts have access to a washroom building with showers and toilets, while the air conditioned rooms have a private ensuite bathroom. We offer guided tours in the area and to the park. Our itinerary can be shared to interested guests. There is also the opportunity to do volunteer work at our orphanage and our primary school, both of which are connected to and financed by the Savannah Lodge and are located on the premises.

Larabanga is the oldest Muslim community in Ghana and one of the oldest in West Africa. It's home to the oldest Mosque in Ghana and the mystic stone, a place of great mystic and religious significance to the native people. Furthermore it is just in the doorstep of Mole National Park, the largest and most famous national reserve and park in Ghana, offering serene nature, wildlife and many activities from Safari by car or foot or even canoeing on the Mole river.
