Located in Kalavrita, the recently renovated 1909 Guesthouse provides accommodation 200 metres from The monastery of Mega Spilaio and 25 km from Chelmos-Vouraikos National Park. Featuring luggage storage space, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. In good weather, guests are welcome to sit outside. At the guest house, each unit includes a wardrobe and a flat-screen TV. Every unit includes a kettle, a private bathroom and free WiFi, while selected rooms come with a balcony and some have mountain views. At the guest house, the units are fitted with bed linen and towels. Continental and vegetarian breakfast options with warm dishes, local specialities and fresh pastries are available. At the guest house, the restaurant is open for dinner, lunch and brunch and serves Greek cuisine. Sightseeing tours are available in the surroundings. Guests at 1909 Guesthouse can enjoy skiing nearby, or make the most of the sun terrace. Lake Tsivlou is 48 km from the accommodation. Araxos Airport is 117 km away.

The construction of Mega Spilaio’s Guesthouse finished in 1909, situated on a high point inside the Vouraikos gorge enables every room to have a spectacular view. Recently we started the renovation process, with the goal of modernize the facilities along with preserving the special character of this unique building. Staying here is for guest prioritizing the experience over comfort, walking 50m uphill, awkward monastic type of bathtubs and other quirks are part of staying with us.
