My name is Christos, and I am a civil engineer with a deep passion for traditional architecture and the restoration of stone buildings. This tower house is much more to me than just a project — it is a part of my family’s history, legacy, brought back to life with respect for the past and attention to detail. During the renovation, I personally designed and built many of the furniture pieces and elements of the house, placing special emphasis on natural materials and the reuse of old family objects. Each space has its own identity and “tells” a part of the home’s story. I love nature, tranquility, and hospitality rooted in authentic experiences. My goal is for every guest to feel the house as a true retreat: a place for relaxation, reconnection, and slow living, away from the intensity of everyday life. The tower house is located in the traditional settlement of Kotrafi, in Inner Mani, at an altitude of approximately 300 meters, offering panoramic and unobstructed views of the sea. The area is defined by authentic Maniot architecture, stone towers, and a unique, rugged landscape that blends mountain and sea. It is a quiet and secluded destination, ideal for those seeking tranquility, privacy, and connection with nature. Nearby, you will find Gerolimenas, with beautiful seaside tavernas, as well as the iconic village of Vatheia — one of the most photographed locations in Mani.
