Alexander Mountain Resort is located in Gerakari, 22 mi south of Rethymno. Set on the foot of Mount Kedros, it features an outdoor pool, tennis court and 50-person conference hall. Free bikes are provided. Alexander Mountain Resort rooms have balconies with garden or mountain views. They all come with a kettle, fridge and hotplate. Spacious and bright, they also feature a satellite LCD TV, DVD player and safe. A Continental breakfast prepared with fresh, local ingredients is served daily. The on-site restaurant serves traditional Cretan dishes. In the resort lounge guests can play table games, while in a specially arranged recreation room there are machine toys and electronic games units. Free Wi-Fi access is available in all communal spaces. Hiking, climbing, bird watching and cooking classes are popular activities in the area.
