Through a journey that started in 2001, Oreo Travel was founded by Stratos Beretis, an experienced member of the Greek Tourism Industry, a Graduate of the Department of Economics of the University of Crete and a Master Degree Holder in Tourism Business Management. Having passed through several management positions, he was won over by the occupation with tailor made tourism services and especially in inbound tourism in villas, independent properties, country houses and small holiday rental units. Oreo Travel started as a representative of global tour operators and continues to this day with an ever-growing network of partners and properties in Crete, Peloponnese and Athens, in line with the new promotional and managing methods. Our goal at Oreo Travel is to promote the properties we partner with in the best way possible, by solely operating as a booking agent on behalf of our partner-property owners, whom we advise and guide in providing high standards of hospitality for their guests, in accordance with the regulations and the laws that govern the accommodation industry. Furthermore, we are constantly available for our guests to answer questions, solve potential problems that may arise while booking or staying in and to recommend services that may be needed to facilitate their stay and maximize their travel experience (car rental, transportation, tours, excursions and concierge services). Villa Alexandros is a fully restored (2022) beautiful stone build construction, that is dated back to 1885. It is located in the picturesque village of Skouloufia, just 18km from Rethymno town. In front of the villa, there is a paved patio area with a private 30sqm swimming pool that also includes a children's pool , with sunbeds and umbrellas. There are 3 bedrooms, 3 ensuite full bathrooms, and a simple WC. On the ground floor, there is a living area with a fireplace and a TV set. Three steps lead, through a stone beautiful arch, to a fully equipped open-plan kitchen area. There is a large dining table, a large fridge/freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an espresso coffee machine, and all modern appliances. Next to the kitchen, there is a WC and a utility room with a washing machine. Furthermore, on the ground floor, there are three bedrooms (2 of them with a double bed each and one with 2 single beds) all with en suite bathrooms. From the kitchen, there is access to the veranda, equipped with patio furniture, a large stone-built sofa, and a built-in BBQ with a traditional oven.The first floor of the building is closed and not accessible.

Skouloufia village has 2 traditional tavernas, a traditional kafenion, and a mini-market. The nearest supermarket, as well as the sandy beach of Stavromenos, is about 8 km away. The archaeological site of the ancient village of Eleftherna (4 km) where one of the most internationally important excavations and archaeological museums is a must-visit. Also, the famous monastery of Arkadi (8 km) with its renovated buildings and museum is a recommended visit. A car is essential, and there is free parking at the villa.
