I am Nena and with my brother Taki , we are the owners of this establishment. Our origin is NOT from Mykonos and our main work was NOT the hotel business but we are the third generation of shoe makers working for 30 years in Athens. We first visited the island in 1983 ,loved it and we became regular guests. In 1992 we bought this land because the location was ideal . Close to the beach but away from it's noise. We had no idea as what to do with it but it's creation became our dream. It took us 20 years to create the form that the houses have now. Due to Greece’s economic disaster our main line of work could not support us any more so we decided to jump to the ocean… We were lucky because although we had no experience in this business we had very good friends who helped us in all major aspects . We have spend thousand hours of thinking as how to make it better and we still feel that we have not finished yet. For us this establishment is not just a place of work , it is our home and we welcome our guests as friends .

Almyra Guest Houses is characterized by our guests and friends as Home away from Home. Our main concern was to make the rooms elegant with no exaggerations. There is a strong sense or warmth which makes everyone feel like at home. The people who visit us are couples , families or friends who spend their vacations together and they want to have an easy access to 3 beaches or visit the city within 15 minutes by driving a car/bike or public bus . Guests receive from us Respect and Honesty. What they see in the photos is the true image of our establishment plus our sincere interest for their well being. Our establishment is located in a small hill just before the beach of AGIA ANNA( 150 meters ). All rooms have direct sea view of both AGIA ANNA and Paraga beach. Also, one can reach PLATIS GIALOS beach from a sea side road within 15 minutes walking. In this particular beach there are small boats which take the tourists to other beaches in the south part of the island like PARIDISE,SUPER PARIDISE, KALO LIVADI, ELIA etc. Although we are in the country side , all near by beaches have live beach bars, restaurants and taverns which serve from early morning until late in the evening. PARAGA beach has the famous KALUA beach bar and SCORPIOS bar / restaurant. AGIA ANNA beach has a very well known Greek taverna, NIKOLA’S TAVERN which is famous for their recipes made of local ingredients.
