Likotinarea, is a peaceful village, , at just over 340 meters above sea level. Due to its location, it boasts spectacular and panoramic views over the Cretan Sea and mountains and can be an ideal place for hiking and recreation. The settlement has existed there for many centuries, Wamos is a large village 6 km away. With facilities that include two kinds of markets. Four canyons and two taverns. More shopping facilities are available. The larger town, Cliffs, is 12 km away with sandy beaches Of Almirida, and Giorgiopolis is about a ten-minute drive away. With a fishing port and a Kalivaki beach a river flows to this beach with cool water.
n the village of Likutinara you can dine to your heart's content in a local tavern. 5 minutes away is the large village of Apokoroens, where you can go shopping and there are several taverns and cafes. and other attractions. At a 10-minute drive you can enjoy the beautiful beaches of the picturesque town of Giriopolis. There are boat cruise taverns. and other attractions.
