The original house, which dates from the mid-nineteenth century, was restored and extended in 1998 respecting traditional island architecture. It is part of a group of five independent residences with a common staircase and access to the sea. Its surface is 194 m2, spread over two levels and consists of living room, kitchen-dining room, three bedrooms and 2 WC. The bedrooms have double beds and in one bedroom there is another single bed. It has a total terrace surface of 90 m2 with spectacular views. Air conditioning (in the 2 bedrooms)
I fell in love with Ermoupoli 33 years ago and since then I stayed here. My job is to design and construct houses and mostly to repair old traditional buildings of Syros. I have a son and two grandsons. I like traveling and hiking.
The house is located in the famous neighborhood of seafarers, "Vaporia", which hangs over the sea, next to the church of Agios Nikolaos in Ermoupolis in Syros. Distance from the sea: 10 meters. (Access to the sea for a swim under the house. Not suitable for small children or people with limited mobility). Distance from the main square : 250 m. – 4 minutes' walk Distance from the port (sailing boats) : 330 m. - 5 minutes' walk Distance from the port (ferry-boats) : 750 m. - 10 minutes' walk Distance from airport : 4 km Distance from market : 300 m. - 5 minutes' walk Distance from “Asteria" beach: 430 m. - 6 minutes's walk Distance from beaches: up to 10-12 km - up to 15 to 20 minutes by car Distance from hospital: 1.4 km.
