ANAVALOS - POSEIDON'S BIRTHPLACE Anavalos - a family run boutique hotel experience is located by the sea and offers spectacular views of Nafplio and the Argolic Gulf. The beautiful sea view can be enjoyed from all rooms, balconies, dining terraces, outdoor kitchen, infinity pool, and the rocky beach. Distance to Kiveri village is 800 meters.

Neighborhood info

Anavalos has been known for centuries as a source of fresh spring water from the Peloponnese mountains, originating in the Alps. This water comes out from under the sea here in Anavalos. Poseidon's Birthplace According to Greek Mythology, the god of the seas - Poseidon (son of goddess Rea and Kronos the king of Titans) was born right here in Anavalos. Poseidon was one of the twelve Olympian deities, he is not only the god of the seas but also the earth-shaker and the father of Nafplios.
