Andi Vacation Home is located in the heart of Lefkogia village, which is a busy, yet quiet village all year round. There you will find a supermarket, a bakery, a traditional coffee shop for your daily needs and also tavernas, all within walkable distance. Lefkogia village is just minutes away from the best beaches of southern Crete. You will be able to visit the top-rated beaches like Plakias, Ammoudi, Schinaria, Damnoni and Preveli, since they are all nearby. The natural landscape of Lefkogia village and as well as of the whole area of southern Rethymno is breath-taking, offering unique indigenous flora and fauna sightings. Nearby beaches: Ammoudi (where you will find the amazing tavern "Chyma Sto Kyma "), Schinaria, Damnoni, Plakias, Souda, Preveli, Rodakino, Triopetra and more. Places of interest in the area: Kourtaliotiko Gorge, Preveli Palm Forest, Preveli Monastery. Activities in the area: Horse riding , various diving clubs and other water sports. The nearest village to Lefkogia, with all amenities possible, is Plakias village and it is just 4km away. There you will find everything for your daily needs. There are supermarkets, shops, numerous tavernas, an ATM, doctors and a rich nightlife just minutes away. Plakias is also the starting point for many boat excursions to Preveli Palm Beach and Hora Sfakion. The city of Rethymno is about 30 km away from Lefkogia village.
