The sea is only 500m away.Antonis Studios’s traditional architecture and elegant interiors have earned them a place in visitors heart.The complex comprises of 8 appartments (both Double and Family) all with sea view. All rooms are fully equiped, spacious and all air-conditioned apartments feature a balcony overlooking the sea, garden or mountain. There is also a seating area and TV. The kitchenette includes a fridge, coffee machine and electric kettle. The bathroom comes with a shower and free toiletries. Free Wi-Fi is offered in all areas The studios, located in Plakias, open for the public in 1997. Since quality accomodation and hospitality services is something usual for the area, Studios Antonis offered a new type of tourism surrounding the possible activities and action someone could perform in the area. This approach was something new and paid back quickly as many visitors encouraged to visit the surroundings and perform natural activities. Studios Antonis are more than accomodation. It encloses the whole southern Crete. Its tradition, its natural resources and of course its attitude.

Neighborhood info
The south cast of the county of Rethymno is named "Gialia". Along with the inland is the center of South Crete. Continuous beaches surrounded by high hills and in between, green valleys filled with flowers and aroma.
Between the high mountains the gorges Kourtaliotis, Kotsifou and Mesa gorge allow the access between the north and the south compiling a special landscape.
Getting down from the mountains you meet, olive farms, small hills, streams, rare flowers and herbs. All these changes in the landscape end in magnificent beaches with cristal clear waters.
The area of Gialia has a special dry and warm climate (mediterannean). In the winter sot winds from Africa heat the atmosphere living the sun to reach the freely Plakias and the nearby villages. The sun in this area is 92%. In the summer the north winds from the mountains bring cool breezes. The cleanliness and brightness ofthe atmosphere is very tense and control the human feelings.
