"Arhontiko Riga 1872" is a historic preserved building made of stone, which was restored and converted into a special aesthetic Traditional First Class Suites Hotel. Its architecture and decoration philosophy reflect the passage of traditional continental land to the classical Italian province. Built in 1872, where the Riga's family followed the trade route of that time, they maintained trade with Trieste and Venice, so the building is influenced by local traditional architecture and neoclassical Italian architecture. It features cozy rooms & suites with fireplaces, built-in bathrooms, iron or wooden antique bedrooms with white embroidered sheets & down duvets, on wooden lofts (balconies) with an internal staircase and visible shingles on the roof. The lounge and the breakfast room have a fireplace, while overlooking and direct access to the large courtyard of the mansion, with green areas, flower beds & beautiful trees. All together, in combination with the aromas of nature especially in the spring and summer months, they create an idyllic atmosphere!
