In the most distinctive part of the island, ‘Mouragio’ behind the front row of hotels and houses, Avra - meaning aura – is located. The property was a former galley oven to mariners on the island. For the architectural approach to the restoration, every effort to respect its former use has been made. This two-story traditional house is very close to the only central Beach NOS - 10 minutes walk, and 60 steps from all island necessities: tavernas, cafe, bars, supermarkets and the ferry departure-arrival port. With its own garden, balcony overlooking the shore and windows to the Aegean, Avra is a property in a quiet traditional neighbourhood away from the hustle and bustle of the island, yet close to all the amenities required for a pleasurable stay.
