Hi I'm George. I am running Caldera Blue with my brother Greg who is usually available to hand over keys, check people in and out etc. We also run a restaurant in Cyprus so we have quite a lot of experience in the hospitality business. I will try to answer any questions as soon as I can but please bare with me as I am not sitting on a desk all day so sometimes I only check emails once or twice a day.

Caldera Blue is a purpose build holiday complex. Seven out of the 52 units are now finished and available for rent. We hope that in the next few years more units will be added to the project. I am renting maisonettes (i.e. semi-detached houses on two levels). On the top level there is a living room, a shower/WC and a kitchenette. The sofa can be converted to either two single beds or one double. On the lower level there is a shower/WC and a bedroom with one double bed (180 cm wide). Each maisonette has its own veranda with table and chairs on the top level and a small garden on the lower level, also with chairs. The kitchenette is equipped with a sink, a small refrigerator, a microwave oven, a kettle, basic utensils and cutlery, plates and glassware for 6 people. Linen, bath and beach towels are also included. Bathrooms are supplied with soap, shampoo and toilet tissue.

Caldera Blue is situated in one of the most picturesque, natural environments by the sea. Its location offers the best of everything; peace and tranquillity, unspoilt sea views, romantic strolls in the sea front of Ayios Nicolaos village and traditional fish taverns of Aliki village are under a kilometre away. For the more active and thrill seekers, there sea is ideal for water ski, sailing and fishing. Caldera Blue is positioned in a small bay offering a small easily accessible beach with crystal clear waters. The beauty of the location is not only the immediate surrounding environment but also its proximity with neighbouring traditional Greek villages. The modern amenities of the town of Thiva are only 30 minutes away and Livadia 40, whilst the capital, Athens and its International airport are just a 75 minute drive. You are better off using a car to get to Caldera Blue. If you are planning a trip to Aliki, we suggest you take the Thiva – Aliartos road, take the exit for Kanavari, and then head for Xironomi.
