Company info

My name is Christopher Kolokouris and I am the current owner of Camping Elizabeth, the third generation to run the campsite. I live in Rethymno throughout the year, and in the winter I enjoy painting and latin dancing with friends while in the summer I spend all my time around the campsite with customers and staff, and go out with friends for a walk in the old town and perhaps an ice cream or a drink.

You can rent our cosy caravans, bungalows and tents and you are ready to enjoy the Camping Elizabeth hospitality, the friendliness of our staff and the exquisite home cooking of Eleni at our taverna. Make Camping Elizabeth your central point to visit places like Minoan "Knossos" and "Phaistos", beautiful beaches on the south coast of Crete and walks in the gorges and towns of the island.

Neighborhood info

The neighbourhood of Missiria, where the campsite is situated in is lightly populated, with a supermarket in walking distance of the campsite as well as 2 bakeries with tasty baked goods. There is a regular bus service to Rethymno which comes about every 30 minutes approximately, however the town center is 4 kilometeres away, and can also be walked to using the Rethymno beach road.
