Platanias and Agia Marina are both offering a wide choice of restaurants, beach clubs, cafes, souvenir shops and even a tennis club. Further along the coast lies the fishing village of Kolymbari which you can explore and enjoy fresh fish and seafood straight off of the fishing boats. Chania is home to many beautiful villages and is famous for its orange plantations. Exploring the area is certainly worthwhile with areas of outstanding beauty such as the botanical park with its organic restaurant or Therisso gorge within a short drive.
